The radio in this beautiful Bentley Continental GT, whilst having satnav and Bluetooth built in was still outdated...well it is 20 years old! We gave it a modern upgrade with Pioneer's flagship double din stereo, and even added a subtle reverse camera for easier parking. The avic-z930dab is packed with features including WiFi, Bluetooth, sat nav, android auto/apple carplay, dvd & dab. Removing the factory radio also took away several vital buttons used to control climate control and vehicle settings, which among others was also displayed on the factory screen. Thanks to the Ben-hur installation kit all these factory features along with steering wheel controls and factory amplifier are still retained and interface perfectly. On this 2023 Skoda Kamiq we replaced the tailgate release button with one that has an integrated camera. The image is automatically displayed on the factory screen via an interface when reverse is selected. We left the original radio in place but with no aux inputs or good sound we needed some other option. A sight short circuit created a lot of damage to this beautiful Pontiac Bonneville. Wiring from the alternator all the way up to the ammeter at the clocks burnt out melting several wires in the process. With the clocks removed and a lot of patience we was able to repair the harness. An inch by inch inspection of this Mustang's wiring harness paid off. A main loom running down the side of the engine bay had chaffed and 2 wires were very close to breaking point. Another Android auto/apple carplay upgrade. This time a Kenwood DMX 8019DABS with wireless carplay, usb/dab/Bluetooth, installed into a Ford Ranger. Customer also wanted front & rear camera which this unit handles perfectly. Now autumn is here, a reminder to check your drainage holes. This Clio was suffering from electrical gremlins that we traced back to a plug sat in water. Lifting the scuttle panel revealed the cause.
